The data will not be lost and as soon as the new custodian has all the paperwork, you will be notified.

  • Heather MacAlister commented on the blog post Closure of Ancestry24   6 months, 3 weeks ago · View

Please don’t worry – the data will go to a good home and you will be notified. The volunteering will go and and must continue. Whoever takes over the data will absorb the volunteers and all the work gone into it.
Thanks so much for all the kind words – it really is appreciated.

Lastly we are no longer under taking DNA testing because of the lack of [...]

      Hi Heather
I have seen your names on other links, but did not realise we had some ”commonality” in our trees. I see you have Anna Daniell married to Richard Hopley on yours. I am directly descended from the independant 1820 Settlers Lt Richard Daniell RN and Maj Gen Charles Collins Campbell. My tree is on GenesReunited, but I see Robert Edwards has copied most of it which is on Ancestry. Would it be possible to view your tree and how?
      Thanks
      Mike Kennedy
