I notice photos of some tombstones in Plumstead Cemetery but there is not one of my parents Wilfrid (which in your records you have spelt incorrectly) and Johanna Christina BETHEL – the other family members feature but not this one. Also how does one actually see the full death/birth etc certificate and is there anywhere one can look up deaths in Stellenbosch. Thanks.
Hello Cynthia
Many of the headstones have falled over and they cannot be picked up even by two people. The staff there are not bothered about picking them up either so the lay buried in the sand.
There are no birth or death certificates available one line as they remain in the custody of the Home Affairs. Death notices in the Cape before 1959 are in the Cape Town archives and after that in the Master of the High Court. I suggest you read our English official beginners guide which will help you to understand which records are not availabe online to the public.

I see a transcription for Hilda May KALSON. Several days ago, I was able to see an image of the register.
I see a transcription for Mary KALSON with a space where the image should be; alas, the image link seems to be broken.

Shoshana
