She managed Portland Manor as a guest house in the 1989. The house was at that time owned by Frank Peter who was a direct decendant of Lord Barrington - Frank's mother was a Newdigate. My family lived in the manor house in 1988-9 when it was a fruit farm growing a variety of fruit which was sold locally and exported.The information is incorrect.
