The staff there are not bothered about picking them up either so the lay buried in the sand. There are no birth or death certificates available one line as they remain in the custody of the Home Affairs. Death notices in the Cape before 1959 are in the Cape Town archives and after that in the Master of the High Court. Also how does one actually see the full death/birth etc certificate and is there anywhere one can look up deaths in Stellenbosch. Thanks.
